We lost.
I guess it was fair but the company who won AND got the challenge shield was quite... They did alright but I thought another ctg did better. Not my contingent, I knew we kinda screwed up at the last bit.
When we found out we got participation and merit we were quite sad. At first our coy wasn't called out until they realised they made a mistake. I was so happy when they didn't call out first coy for participation and merit until the stupid mc had to say it was an error.
mc: The companies who got participation and merit are, .........., 18 coy.
us: [grins at each other in amazment and happiness]
mc: [repeats the companies], oh wait, sorry, it wasn't 18 coy, it was 1st coy
us: [sighs in disapointment]
And they gave us an empty envelope. I mean, I know they would give us a certificate but at least a medal would be nice so that we won't feel so bad. I know that we might not have been the one who won and there were other contingents but I guess I really felt disapointed in myself. I really really am.
When we walked back to our stand I couldn't help but cried. Sigh. Ina, Chantal, Cara and Liwen were so nice to have comforted me. Miss Ng said we weren't that bad, Miss Chia said our uniform was good, but I guess we weren't creative enough. Plus we didn't know we could do hand gestures. I know our stamps weren't too bad either but I guess our dressing and the slow march/ending kinda pulled our performance down. As well as how nervous we felt.
Thank you Sau, Janelle, Angela and all the other secondary girls who actually came and comforted me. It was really nice of you and I really hope you guys did well. JIA YOU(:
But I don't look forward to Wed and Mon. I don't want to talk about it. I guess it'll make me worse. Aw, but it was really sweet of Angela and Janelle to comfort me and hugged me(: I felt much better.
